RuneScape Thieving

Runescape Thieving Thieving is rampant in RuneScape and it has become one of the most appreciated skills you can develop. It is possible for you to become an occasional pickpocket or if this does not satisfy you then why not become a full-time criminal. The only down side to all of this is that you have to be a member if you want to practice the skills of thievery.

Thieving is a really useful skill and the better you get at it the more uses you will find for this skill. The more you practice the better you will get at it; isn’t that always the way? In the beginning you will be able to get your hands on a few modest items that you otherwise would have needed to pay for, but later you can have far more ambitious aims. The one thing you must understand about thieving is that it is not without risk; in fact if you are not extremely stealthy and quick witted it could lead to all sorts of danger.

The most basic form of thieving is picking pockets and this is the best place for you to start your journey into criminality. It should be noted though that it is only possible to pick pocket some type of players. Once you choose a likely candidate it is simply a matter of clicking on them and selecting the pick pocket option from the menu; get it right and you might have added a little to your wealth but get it wrong and you should expect a beating.

Picking pockets is the low end when it comes to thieving and is not going to satisfy the budding criminal for long. The next challenge should be looting market stalls. The stall owners can be very protective over their merchandise but if you are quick enough you should be able to add to your bounty. Once you see something you want on a market stall all you have to do is click the button "steal from market stall".
Unlocking doors is the next step up the thieving ladder. You should look out for locked doors and use this as a chance to practice your picking locks skill. In order to get your hands on a lock pick you will need to steal one from a Rogue.

So there you have just a basic introduction to RuneScape thieving. If you want to become good at it remember to practice a lot and don’t forget to drink your Bandit’s brew every day as this increases your thieving ability.
